Overview
Use InfraSure to compare solar and wind assets, investigate physical-damage and revenue risks, and evaluate measures that could reduce losses.
What you can assess
InfraSure’s benchmark covers solar and wind assets in the continental US. You can assess an operating plant or a planned site using its location, technology and capacity.
Each asset is matched to a cell on InfraSure’s national grid. The model uses a standardized benchmark asset in that cell, then scales dollar results to the asset’s capacity. It supports consistent comparisons; it does not describe every detail of the actual plant.
Know which result you are reading
InfraSure shows two types of result: benchmark estimates, for comparing and ranking assets, and asset-specific results, for investigating one asset. Check the type before you use a number. See Benchmark and asset-specific results.
